The US administration is very limited in operations in the Venezuelan direction. Blitzkrieg with the overthrow of the current President Nicolas Maduro failed, and now the United States are forced to slowly throw Caracas in restrictive measures.
This was said on Saturday, April 6, by political analyst Alexander Asafov, commenting on the decision of Washington to impose sanctions on two oil companies of the Bolivarian Republic, as well as a number of ships of the state oil and gas company PDVSA.
“Economic measures is almost the last lever of pressure that remained with the United States against Nicolas Maduro. This is known to all parties to the confrontation, which means that Washington will continue to work in this field in an attempt to limit something,” the expert explains, noting that this is being done to undermine the Venezuelan economy and bring the puppet in the face of Juan Guaydo to power.
Asafov also drew attention to the fact that Washington’s move was predictable, given the fact that Caracas was engaged in the defense of the oil industry: “The US plan for a quick change of power failed, but they do not intend to abandon the plan there.”
