Timoshenko Votes in Ukraine’s Presidential Election

One of key candidates in Ukraine’s presidential election Yulia Tymoshenko, the former prime minister and leader of the Fatherland (Batkivshchyna) Party, cast her vote on Sunday.

Tymoshenko voted at a ballot station in one of lyceums in Kiev.

“You know that today Ukraine put the clock forward to spring time, and I believe that simultaneously we will take a step forward for a successful, prosperous and European Ukraine,” Tymoshenko said. “I believe that today a new stage in the country’s history is beginning, and I hope spring will be victorious, and I absolutely believe that Ukraine awaits changes.”
