State of Palestine: Protesters and Israeli forces clash in West Bank

Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters at Palestinians commemorating the 43rd anniversary of Land Day near Ramallah on Friday.

Footage shows the Palestinians responded by throwing rocks and active gas canisters at the Israeli forces using slingshots.

Paramedics say that seven protesters were injured, four of them by rubber-coated bullets in the village of al-Mughayer, northeast of Ramallah, according to reports.

The Israeli forces opened fire to disperse the non-violent protests shortly after Friday prayers, according to reports. The injured were moved to hospital for medical treatment.
