UK: House shoots down all eight indicative vote options on Brexit

UK MPs voted against all eight indicative votes to find alternative arrangements for Brexit in the House of Commons in London on Wednesday.

The House Speaker selected eight indicative vote options proposed by various MPs to find an alternative to the Brexit deal proposed by Theresa May, all of which were voted down in non-binding votes.

Unable to negotiate a deal to leave the EU before the original deadline, the United Kingdom may have to hold European elections if it pushes the deadline past May 2019.

On the same day, the House voted 441 in favour to 105 against legislation striking out March 29 as the exit date, which will be pushed back until at least April 12.
