A regular meeting between Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and Premier of the People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang will be held in the second half of September, Deputy Director for the First Asian Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Andrei Smorodin said at a news conference devoted to China’s festival in Moscow that will be held on September 13-15.
“The period of the festival, that is in the second ten days of September, is remarkable, as a meeting that is rather important for our bilateral relations with China will be held a few days after the festival: a regular meeting between the government heads of the two countries,” he said.
The previous meeting between the Russian and Chinese government heads was held in November last year in Beijing.
