Venezuela Gov’t Announces Gradual Restoration of Electric Service

Venezuelan Minister of Communication Jorge Rodríguez said the fire brigades came to the country’s main electric plant Guri to put out the fire attack that took place the night before.

The government of Venezuela announced Tuesday morning the gradual restoration of electricity service in Caracas, the capital of the country, after the double attack on the electrical system denounced by the administration of President Nicolas Maduro.

Minister of Communication Jorge Rodríguez through his official Twitter account, reported that the fire brigades came to the 765 kva yard in Guri, in Bolívar state, and managed to control the flames to reactivate the electric system in this country’s main electric plant.

He also denounced the fire at the electricity generation yard and the energy transmission routes in that nation’s main hydroelectric power plant.
