Poroshenko decided to get rid of the elections, OSCE by a provocation in the Donbass

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has prepared a backup plan that will allow him not only to postpone the elections, but also to change the situation in the Donbass in his favor. To this end, he is ready to go on another provocation, the consequence of which will be the introduction of martial law, the official representative of the Armed Forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic Edward Basurin said, referring to intelligence data.

He said that the purpose of the next provocation will be the staff of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission, who regularly inform the Ukrainian side about their routes.

“According to the intelligence information we have, the Special Operations Forces have been tasked with planning a provocation against OSCE staff on the territory controlled by Kiev,” Basurin said, adding that an option would be to lay an explosive device on the route of the OSCE patrol.

At the same time, he noted that Kiev would thus receive not only the opportunity to impose martial law, but also renew attempts to achieve the introduction of a UN peacekeeping force in the Donbass.

“We also do not exclude the option of suspending the work of the OSCE Mission in Ukraine, due to the threat to the lives of its employees. In this case, the hands of the Ukrainian military command will be untied and nothing will prevent them from stepping up military operations, even offensive ones,” stated Basurin.
