French President Emmanuel Macron said that the UK is waiting for a “hard” exit and EU membership in the event that the British Parliament rejects the draft agreement of Prime Minister Theresa May. This is reported by Business Insider.
“In the case of a vote against, we will go for Brexit without an agreement,” said the French leader during the EU summit in Brussels.
Earlier, the British Trade Union Congress and the Confederation of British Industry appealed to Teresa May to change the approach to the implementation of Brexit, since “the country is on the verge of an emergency.”
