Russian ambassador: Sponsors of “Kosovo” independence are weakening

Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Chepurin commented on the situation in the dialogue between the Serbian authorities and the self-proclaimed “Republic of Kosovo”, noting the external “sponsors of independence” Pristina.

“Pristina’s ‘platform’ is a clear rejection of the dialogue with Serbia, a set of ultimatum requirements. Fantasy does not agree with reality: the recognition reviews continue, and the sponsors themselves are weakening”, a diplomat wrote in his twitter account.

Earlier, the chairman of the “Kosovo parliament”, Kadri Veseli, wrote down the “Pristina’s Platform”, which was soon published. The document contains 11 proposals, more precisely, the requirements for Belgrade. In particular, it says about the recognition of the independence of the region. Serbia answered that the “platform” has no meaning, since this is not an agreement, but an ultimatum – this is how the document was commented by Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic.
