New Zealand is reeling this morning after attacks on two mosques in Christchurch left several people dead. The exact toll is not known, but local media are reporting a possibility of up to 50 victims.

Police have confirmed that four people – three men and one woman – are in custody. A lockdown in local schools has now been lifted.
