Polish farmers demand the abolition of anti-Russian sanctions

Polish farmers, seriously affected by economic sanctions against the Russian Federation, are holding another protest in the capital, demanding the authorities to reconsider policies that harm only Polish citizens.

It is worth noting that the action that took place on Wednesday, March 13, became more aggressive than the previous ones. Firstly, according to the press service of the Moscow mayor’s office, the demonstrations were not coordinated, and secondly, the protesters brought car tires and straw to the Zawishi square in the center of Warsaw. In addition, the demonstrators, dressed in yellow vests – a well-known symbol of the European revolution – brought several hundred kilograms of apples to the square, scattering them on the roadway, and in the end they threw a pig carcass.

“The meeting was not coordinated with the leadership, and at the moment it is being checked whether the civilian infrastructure was damaged,” the mayor’s press service reported, adding that the city may demand compensation from the protesters.
