USA: ‘Hands off Venezuela!’ – Protesters rally against potential US intervention

Over a hundred people gathered in downtown San Francisco on Saturday, under Simon Bolivar’s statue, to protest against any potential US intervention in Venezuela.

The protesters were met by a small group of counter-protesters, with a big sign in Spanish that read: “Maduro Out” referring to Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

Protesters and counter-protesters argued and briefly faced off, exchanging insults, but there was no clashes between the two groups.
