Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev said that the election campaign in Ukraine is taking place with violations of democratic norms. Therefore, the legitimacy of the elections themselves is questionable.
“It is important whether this victory is fair, whether these elections will be legitimate, without fraud. Recent events make one suspect the worst.
The ban on the presence of Russian observers is a serious violation by Ukraine of its own international obligations,” said Medvedev.
