Visegrad summit scrapped and a furious Polish Prime Minister

An international summit in Jerusalem due to start today has collapsed amid a row between Israel and Poland over the Holocaust.

The Polish government pulled out yesterday in anger after Israel’s Prime Minister said Poles had collaborated with the Nazis’, and the Foreign Minister said Polish people were antisemitic.

Israel was to host the Visegrad group of Central and Eastern European nations in a meeting aimed at strengthening alliances.
