LPR Prosecutor General’s Office urged the US senator not to participate in war crimes in the Donbass

The Prosecutor General’s Office of the LPR called on US Senator Johnny Ernst, who arrived in Ukraine to verify information about the involvement of US troops in sabotage activities in the Donbass, to prevent Washington from participating in war crimes.

“The hotline of the Prosecutor General’s Office received information from a journalist from Odessa. The applicant stated that the US Senator Johnny Ernst was in Ukraine. According to the journalist, a US official immediately arrived in Ukraine to check information about the involvement of the regular US military personnel in sabotage and intelligence activities in the area of the so-called joint force operation,” the statement reads.

“The caller said that for several weeks there were three regular American officers in Odessa – Colonel Josh Hertz, Colonel Sean Cox and Colonel Brent Richardson. The journalist also said that he knew for certain that at the moment the aforementioned servicemen were preparing for the transfer to Chasov Yar (a city controlled by Kiev in the Donetsk region), where they should enter the territory of the People’s Republics as part of the special operations team. The group will be accompanied by Ukrainian serviceman Vladimir Plakhotnyuk, ” the General Prosecutor’s Office said.

According to the source, in order to conceal information about the involvement of the US military personnel in the fighting in the Donbass, the command of the AFU misinformed the American politician, saying that the US servicemen are in the territory of the Sparta special forces training center in Berdichev.

At present, the LPR Prosecutor General’s Office is verifying the information received, including the involvement of the serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Plakhotnyuk in crimes against the civilian population of Donbass. If his guilt is established, he will be summoned for questioning by the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic to testify in the framework of a previously opened criminal case on the grounds of corpus delicti provided for by article 440 of the Criminal Code of the LPR – “Genocide” and parts of the first and second articles of the 439 of the Criminal Code of the LPR – “The use of prohibited means and methods of warfare.”

“The Prosecutor General’s Office also calls on the US senator to be vigilant in establishing the real location of the above US servicemen and not becoming complicit in crimes against humanity into which the Ukrainian side is trying to draw him,” the statement said.
