Residents of the province of Idlib, who managed to escape into the territory controlled by Syrian government forces, say that the armed forces of the terrorist organization Hayat Tahrir Ash-Sham (formerly Dzhebhat al-Nusra), fully established control over the province, are preparing provocations with chemical poisoning substances in case of the onset of the Syrian armed forces.
For this purpose, in 30 localities near the borders of the Idlib de-escalation zone, the militants, with the help of specialists arriving from Europe via Turkey, equipped storage sites for toxic substances. Some of these sites are located in areas of the humanitarian corridor near the Abu-Ed-Dukhur settlement and the checkpoint near the Morek village.
Also, at least five warehouses with chemicals are equipped in the vicinity of Turkish posts.
Under the protection of militants of the terrorist groups Hizb Al-Islam At-Turkestani and Hurras Al-Din in various localities in the Idlib de-escalation zone, preparations are being made for the dramatization of the mass death of the civilian population due to the alleged use of chemical weapons by government forces. The White Helmets, who call themselves “Civil Self-Defense”, are directly involved in this.
