A mourning meeting on the occasion of the second anniversary of the death of the Hero of the DPR, the commander of the Somalia battalion, Mikhail Tolstoy, was held in Donetsk today. The event took place on the territory of the Donetsk Cemetery “Donetsk Sea”, where the tomb of the legendary battalion commander is located.
Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, representatives of ministries and departments, deputies of the National Council of the Republic, relatives and fellow Tolstoy and others came to pay tribute to the memory of “Givi”. In total there were over 2,000 people.
“It’s been two years since the murder of the Hero of the DPR, the legendary commander of the Somalia battalion, Mikhail Tolstoy. Any terrorist attack implies a desire to suppress the will, break down, intimidate and sow panic. Our enemy counted on it, but he was wrong, because we have become stronger. “Givi” is a legend, and legends do not die! ”, said Pushilin.
