Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic warned of a large number of people from the Balkans, especially from the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, in the ranks of the Islamic State. The Foreign Minister spoke about this threat in Washington at a conference of the Coalition against ISIS.
“Serbia is a member of the Coalition. And we want to warn that there is a big problem – the cracking of mercenaries from our region,” said Dacic.
As the minister noted, Kosovo is the territory from which most of the militants went to the Middle East, if we consider their ratio to the total population of the province.
“The great danger lies in the fact that they are returning back and can transfer terrorist actions to our region,” the Serbian minister added.
