Four people, including a policeman, were killed in attacks in Iraq, according to security officials on Wednesday.
Suspected Daesh militants opened fire on a checkpoint manned by federal police forces late Tuesday in al-Dibs district, northwest of Kirkuk, Police Captain Hamid al-Obeidi told Anadolu Agency.
He said one policeman was killed in the attack.
Gunmen also opened fire on a café in northern Baghdad, killing three civilians, Police Captain Hatem al-Jabri said.
Though no group has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks, Iraqi authorities usually blame the Daesh terrorist group for that kind of attacks.
