Venezuela is now leading the battle for existence – said Daniel Igrets, a specialist in international law from Serbia, on the situation in Caracas.
“According to the old tradition, America and its NATO allies in order to achieve their goals resort to force, trample international law, making the South American Maidan on the streets of Caracas. They are trying to incorporate civil war into the unipolar world order,” said Igrets.
According to him, the reasons for the incident lie in the independent policy of Venezuela, as well as the economic and military-technical cooperation of President Nicolas Maduro with Russia and China.
The lawyer also reminded the Serbian audience that Venezuela in 1999 strongly condemned the NATO aggression against Yugoslavia, and the inhabitants of this country support the territorial integrity of Serbia on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija.
“Then President Hugo Chavez concluded his speech at the conference with words; America, know that Kosovo is Serbia,” recalled Igrets.
