Venezuela crisis: A sober look from France

What is happening today in Venezuela, excites today not only major politicians, but ordinary people in the world, especially due to the fact that the United States declares that all solutions to the crisis in Venezuela are acceptable, writes a public figure from France Monique Gimenez.

Hence, we can assume, she continues, that the US intervention, which cannot be ruled out, will lead to another bloodshed.

Since the arrival of Hugo Chávez at the head of Venezuela and the establishment of a policy proclaiming the Bolivarian revolution in the service of the people, this government has constantly opposed itself to the bourgeoisie and put an end to this bourgeoisie controlling all the levers of production and control over this country for the benefit of the United States.

After the death of Hugo Chávez, this entire oligarchy intended to destabilize this country with the support of the United States, which threatened Maduro with military intervention for “humanitarian” reasons. However, for the United States, the word “humanitarian” does not have the meaning that can be given. It is well known that every US intervention on “humanitarian” issues leads to bloodshed. As usual, and under the pretext that this is happening in Latin America, which is their “own territory,” the United States considers it necessary to intervene, which is interference in the internal affairs of a sovereign country.

The fact that the speaker of the National Assembly declares himself the acting president of Venezuela with the blessing of the so-called “international community”, is only a puppet of the United States. What about international law? Does this concept still have any meaning? The West and the scoundrels of Latin America, all subordinate to the USA, are overcome by this concept when it suits them, and are trampled upon it when it does not meet their expectations.

When we think that these same countries allow themselves to accuse Russia of interfering in the American and French elections, and even in the French “yellow vests” movement, without any evidence, then there arise certain kinds of questions. If US military intervention occurs, Ms. Gimenez concludes, it can destabilize the Latin American continent and lead to a terrible genocide.
