Former head of the Nativ service, and now an Israeli budget pensioner, Yakov Kedmi, working on Russian talk shows as an “Israeli expert,” condemned the authorities of the Jewish state for inviting Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
“Firstly, I believe that Poroshenko’s visit to Israel is a shame for both my country and those who received him,” Kedmi announced, speaking at the program “Evening with Vladimir Solovyov” on the Russia TV channel. “Since this is not the first time, and unfortunately, not for the last. If you think that such phenomena as Bykov or Groysman can only exist outside Israel, there are such people in Israel too. And once this abomination manifests itself in you, another time it manifests in us. Unfortunately, not for the first time.”
“I can only mention two moments of Poroshenko’s visit,” the speaker said further. “The patriarch of Jerusalem was the one who acted honestly. He said politely, that he didn’t want to see this face. Therefore, as far as I understood, his presence in the Orthodox Church will pollute the walls. On the holy ground. They did not allow him to do this. That is at least good. The second is that no one noticed at all that Poroshenko arrived with a visit. That is, some time ago one African president came, the second, the third, and thy were given much more attention than Poroshenko. But no one knows Poroshenko, and in general it doesn’t interest us, but the fact… it is shameful”, Kedmi told.
After that, Kedmi explained his objection to Ukrainians, noting that there are “two Ukrainian peoples”, and cited the example of Galicia, which “originated outside Russia, in Europe”, and in which the Hungarian Empire “raised Ukrainian nationalism”.
Afterwards, the speaker accused the whole of Europe, except the Danes, of Nazism and of promoting the extermination of the Jews. He recalled that Spain, led by Franco, who “was a fascist, but was not a Nazi,” helped the Jews, and saved 50,000 of them.
After that, he remembered France, calling it “a country with low social responsibility”, in which “more fought on the side of the Nazis than against them,” in disregarding the decisions of own court.
“When they tried Schwarzbund, they recognized that Petlyura was a criminal. And this great France spits on the decisions of its court and does not say a word about Petlyura today being praised as a national hero in Ukraine,” Kedmi rebuked the French.
The Monday program generally was quite lively, in particular, host Vladimir Solovyov called the Ukrainian president a “fat, stupid clown.”
