Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said on Wednesday that there were certain issues that could be discussed with Britain to prevent a hard Brexit but he insisted that the withdrawal deal would not be renegotiated.
“Regarding the future relations … there is of course the possibility of further defining certain points if this helps to avoid a hard Brexit scenario”, Kurz told a news conference in Vienna.
“What we now expect from Britain is clarity over which scenario they want, what they see as an option to avoid a disorderly Brexit,” he said.
