Afghanistan: 4 killed, 90 injured in Kabul blast

At least four people were killed and over 90 injured in a car bomb explosion in Kabul on Sunday. Among the injured there are reportedly twenty-three children.

The footage shows a hospital where some of the injured people were rushed to.

The car bomb is assumed to have targeted Green Village – a hotspot for foreign NGOs, according to Interior Ministry spokesman Najib Danish. No individuals or groups have claimed responsibility at the time of writing.

The blast took place against the backdrop of US peace envoy Zalmay Khalilzad’s tour in the region which with the aim of establishing dialogue which would end the 17-year war in Afghanistan.
