Million Ukrainian migrant workers can move from Poland to Germany

If in Germany they adopt a law on immigration, the draft of which was approved by the German government on December 19, then the Polish labor market will leave from half a million to a million Ukrainian migrant workers.

According to Die Welt, the approved draft law on immigration provides for the abolition of the priority for citizens of Germany and other EU countries in 2020 when applying for a job.

If approved by the Bundestag, qualified workers from Ukraine will be able to legally find a job in Germany.

Experts have already calculated that in this case half a million Ukrainians will leave the Polish labor market, and the negative scenario assumes that they will be twice as large.

The fact that the possible outflow of Ukrainian workers from Poland to Germany could adversely affect the Polish economy is warned in the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers of Poland.
