Iran will not wait for the EU – it will work with Russia, China and India

The countries of the European Union are moving “more slowly” along the path of the implementation of the Special Purpose Mechanism (Special Vehicle Purpose, SPV), which aims to transfer EU and Iran trade to mutual settlements in euros than previously expected. On this, while on a working visit to the capital of India, on Tuesday, January 8, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said.

We continue to work with Europeans to launch SPV, but we will not wait for them. Tehran works with such traditional partners as India, Russia, China, and we do it in the interests of the Iranian people.
