Erdogan warned against the intervention of external forces in the affairs of Syria

Turkish President Recep Erdogan made an article in the newspaper The New York Times, where he expressed concern that external forces may use the fight against the remnants of terrorists in Syria as a reason to interfere in its affairs.

The main thesis of the article was the approval of the withdrawal of American troops from Syria. In this light, Erdogan suggests ways of peaceful settlement in the country and stabilization of the economy. In particular, he spoke in favor of putting all ethnic groups in power and the creation of special governing bodies in Syrian Kurdistan. Erdogan recalled that Turkey will not break relations with partners in the Geneva and Astana processes.
