The North Korean authorities demanded that South Korea and the United States refuse to hold joint military exercises. Pyongyang also demanded that Seoul abandon new deliveries of foreign weapons.
As noted, the DPRK perceives the teachings of South Korea and the United States as military provocations.
At the same time, North Korea stressed that the creation of an atmosphere of peace is a prerequisite for the development of inter-Korean relationship.
