The Israeli army offered to eliminate Bashar al-Assad

The commander of the northern military district of Israel, General Aviv Kohavi, made a statement about the need to eliminate Bashar al-Assad.

In his opinion, the removal of Assad will resolve the issue of the presence of Hezbollah militants and the Iranian military in Syria. By eliminating Assad, Kohavi believes, the militants and terrorist groups would once again become more active in Syria, and Israel could bomb the territory of Syria without hindrance again.

This radical idea has not yet found a response in the general staff, but the Israeli Defense Ministry said they would continue air strikes against factions located in Syria.
