Attempts To Isolate Russia Failed

The year 2018 was marked by the grandiose plans of Washington and all its “partners” to isolate the Russian Federation on the world stage, but all these attempts failed.

On Friday, December 28, Alexey Pushkov, chairman of the committee of the Federation Council of Russia on information policy, said that today we can state the absolute failure of the “isolation of Russia” policy.

At the same time, any attempts to work in this direction also ceased, the senator continued. He noted that the reason is simple: it is difficult to isolate a state that has such a huge weight in world political affairs from the Middle East to the Far East.

Over the past year, Russia was largely falsely accused, such as the Skripale case and the crash of a Malaysian airliner over Donbas. They also tried to accuse Moscow of a “hacker attack” on the servers of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, while in the US the situation around the so-called “Russian intervention” is being intensified.
