The United Arab Emirates reopens the embassy in Syria

The United Arab Emirates opens the embassy in Syria again. As reported by France Press, ambassador of UAE is already working in Damascus.

The opening of the embassy takes place against the background of renewing diplomatic relations with Syria since the beginning of the 2011 war.

In particular, the President of Sudan Omar al-Bashir visited Damascus on December 16. He became the first Arab leader to visit the country over the past seven years and met with President Bashar Assad.
