Madagascar has repealed the recognition of the independence of the self-proclaimed “Republic of Kosovo,” said Serbian Foreign Minister, Ivica Dacic.
According to the head of the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a note was received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Madagascar, in which the authorities of the island state inform Belgrade about this decision of December 5, 2018.
Madagascar became the twelfth country to announce such a decision on Kosovo issues.
The “Republic of Kosovo” unilaterally declared independence from Serbia in 2008 and has the status of a partially recognized state. According to the Constitution of Serbia is its autonomous region.
