According to her, ambiguous actions of the international coalition led by the United States raise some doubts. She drew attention to the fact that, having dug in at the military base in Al-Tanf, the US Armed Forces occupied the 55-kilometer zone, without even trying to coordinate it with official Damascus.
Moreover, it was precisely from this direction that the positions of the Syrian Arab Army were fired on the night of Monday, although the United States chose to disown what had happened.
Zakharova stresses that there can be no talk of stability in this region with such “successes”. However, if you look at the situation on a large scale, then the US’s illegal presence in Syria has a logical explanation, the diplomat is sure: “The US intends to play the Kurdish card in Zaevfraet and bring the country to its practical separation, even despite all promises to respect the sovereign Syria.
