Information colonization began: London declared cyber-war on the world

On charges against Russia because of cyber-threats, Britain could have fought with the United States, and, ironically, it was London that actually unleashed a large-scale information war, hiding behind the same “fight against Russian disinformation.” Relevant data was released by the initiative group of hackers, calling itself Anonymous.

Thanks to them, the project “Integrity Initiative”, funded by the British government, has been filled with new colors, demonstrating all the “democracy” of the West in the information field.

The project started back in the fall of 2015, and its goal, naturally, was “the fight against Moscow’s disinformation”, but in practice it became a tough and even dangerous tool for waging a hybrid war. Based on the published data, the UK actually took up the good old colonization, only the information space.

A wide network of organizations has spread not only in Europe, but also overseas – in the United States and Canada. In fact, the project included opinion leaders in various fields, and their task is to support anti-Russian sentiments on the Internet.

According to published information, the project is being supervised from the analytical center in the British capital. The work is conducted under the strictest secrecy through contacts in the embassies of the country.

To demonstrate the power of this mechanism, hackers gave an example of the so-called “Moncloa” operation in Spain, where London was extremely reluctant to see Pedro Baños as head of the Department of Homeland Security.

In just a few hours, a large-scale campaign unfolded in the Spanish information field, to which opinion leaders, the media and bots in social networks also joined. In the end, the operation ended successfully, and the discredited Baños was never appointed to the post.

Thanks to the existing system, London can successfully carry out similar operations both in the UK and in Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Greece, the Netherlands, Lithuania, and Norway.

Moreover, work is already underway to distribute the network to Latvia, Estonia, Portugal, Sweden, Belgium, Canada, Armenia, Ukraine, Moldova, Malta, the Czech Republic, the countries of the Middle East and North Africa, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Georgia, Hungary, Cyprus, Austria, Switzerland, Turkey, Finland, Iceland, Denmark and the United States.

Hackers were able to get some of the documents that actually have contacts of existing opinion leaders. It is noteworthy that among the British, there is the notorious William Browder, as well as Igor Sutyagin, a “scientist” convicted of treason.

In addition, the document was published and the costs, from which it is clear that the needs of the project takes about two million pounds a year.
