More than a thousand migrants from the Central American caravan were able to get in touch with their families at home with the help of a program run by the International Red Cross in Mexico City, footage from Thursday shows.
“It is a humanitarian service that we provide when families lose contact in situations like migration or its consequences,” National Coordinator of the Mexican Red Cross Rafael Becerril explained.
