American NGOs donated millions of dollars in humanitarian aid to al-Qaeda

According to the Pentagon’s inspector, food packages worth a few million, state-sponsored, could get to terrorist organizations in Idlib, including the militants of the Hayat Tahrir ash-Sham group linked to Al-Qaeda. Recipient lists have been changed retroactively.

The investigation also revealed that some NGO workers were directly affiliated with the terrorists. As a result of the investigation, the US Agency for International Development froze the program, NGO workers got off the job.
