The leader of the Union of Left Forces of Ukraine, who opposes the corruption of the current government, Vasyl Volga, wrote on his Facebook page that the SBU was searching his house.
“SBU. Search. Details later,” Volga said.
Also, in a short comment, he says: “SBU is still searching my house. Produced court resolution under articles 109, 111, the whole bouquet of high treason”.
Mr Volga was charged under Article 109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which establishes responsibility for actions committed to seizing state power, public calls for such actions, including through the use of the media and 111 High treason.
These articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine were repeatedly and without proof applied to journalists and politicians who oppose the powerless actions of the Ukrainian authorities. In this context, it is worth noting the sensational case of the chief editor of the RIA Novosti news agency, Kirill Vyshinsky, who was also charged with high treason. The journalist faces imprisonment of up to 15 years. Unfortunately, this practice has become the norm for the Kiev regime.
