The author of the project ‘Stimme Deutschlands’ (Voice of Germany) Sergei Filbert expressed his opinion on the end of the political career of Angela Merkel.
After the fall of the indicators in the elections in Hesse, Chancellor Angela Merkel announced the end of her political career. Of course, this news has caused a stir in the media.
– Many politicians are resigning, but Angela Merkel announced the end of her career after 3 years as Chancellor. Is it too early?
– It is very difficult to judge what is actually behind this decision. In any case, it is not too late.
As Mikhail Gorbachev said in his speech in 1989, the One who is late is punished by life. This, of course, can not be said about Angela Merkel, but Germany and its partners were punished.
Even if Merkel leaves, and will do it already tomorrow, in Germany there will be no quick changes, because Merkel is not the president, but the chancellor from the party. Do not worry, even if she will leave tomorrow, it will not change anything in the general policy. It is necessary to change the entire political system of Germany, and a completely different party should come to power and appoint its chancellor.
This is definitely not going to happen in the near future, because both the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU), the Social Democratic Party (SPD), and the Greens have the same policy, albeit under different names. They are pursuing a neoliberal privatization policy in all lands, be it Hesse or Bavaria, creating a socialist state.
And it began since the days of Chancellor Schroeder. We see that the party figures on the ballot are falling. CDU and SPD have always gained more than 40%, and now they have not reached 20.
All German media write about Merke. In one of the Russian programs, a German media representative, a liberal, said that Merkel was leaving at the peak of her career, having done so much for Germany. Why was she so punished? And they punished not only her, but also representatives of the lands, and the entire federal republic through the authority of the government.
Representatives of parties leading not such a bad internal policy will be punished, because they do such things in foreign policy that lead to failure in elections.
– German media predominantly approve Merkel’s resignation. It can be compared with a rapidly falling balloon that dropped the ballast. But the question is whether the chancellor or the party is this very “ballast.”
– And that, and others. There is a politically medial culture, which dictates a certain direction and inspires people that the party is new, but as I said before, Merkel is the head of the party, and all her actions are coordinated. For 18 years she has been the head of the party, which means if she loses or leaves, it will be an attempt to keep the voters without changing the party. Thus the following candidates are Merkel 2, Merkel 3, Merkel 4. There are no new people, they are all from the party. The same trick was done by Schultz, the leader of the Social Democratic faction. Like Sarkozy in France, he came from nowhere, was the representative of Merkel in Brussels, where he led her policy, and then returned to Germany as an opponent, as an opponent of Merkel. This was programmed by the media, now we see the same thing. No matter who comes now, there will be no great changes. On the plots for a few more years everything will remain in place.
– The question is who will become the successors of Merkel? Maybe Friedrich Mertz or Jens Shpan? Personally, it seems to me that Mertz as a member of BlackRock, the head of the leading private non-profit association Atlantik-Brücke, is a representative of globalists like Obama, Clinton or Soros.
– I have been in Germany for 16 years already, 4 of which are actively fond of the German media, politics, and you know that … I have not heard anything about him, like most Germans. For 15 years, he is not so active, and now after the departure of Merkel, all publications have written: “Hallelujah, Merz!” And on the second day a poll was published, which shows Merz as the best candidate. Although no one knows him. This is how German media work. Simply put, they take a person out of nowhere and say that everyone loves him. And I think that such lies should not concern the German people, as was in the case with Schultz. But then he left, and no one believes the media anymore, because it doesn’t matter how he is described, there is a sea of simple questions about his financial career, about employment in Black Rock, Atlantik-Brücke, and his chancellor position. And, as I know, all he talked about since 2005 is neoliberalism. He began the same policy as Schroder, wanting to create a quasi-state in Germany. And people have heard that a concern will be created from private entrepreneurs. This will go on and on, only harder. This will be the end of the socialist state of Germany.
– Can you predict which course Germany will take after the Merkel era in the national political arena?
– First, it does not depend so much on the departure of Merkel, as on the election results in America. If Trump maintains his position, at least something may somehow change. But it should not. After all, Trump is still here, and the course of Germany is still the same. We will somehow cope with domestic policy, nothing will change in foreign policy. In Kiev, the issue of sanctions against Russia, “separatists”, “annexation of the Crimea” and sanctions continues. These are not the words that should be used in Germany, just like in Ukraine itself, they only sharpen the conflict, and even more people die. The situation reminds Greece, Ukraine has absolutely nothing to rejoice. So, the International Monetary Fund gives loans, indicating what needs to be done in Ukraine, as it was in Greece – privatization, government bonds, large sales to investors, such as the sale of streets, clinics, schools and everything that can be sold. Germany did the same with Greece – gave her loans from taxpayers’ money, and private entrepreneurs bought the streets and airports — in short, everything that was offered. The same thing is happening in Ukraine – the privatization of land, but not for the Ukrainians, but for the oligarchs. And Germany looks like a vulture in search of prey, thinking what else can be stolen. Here is how it works. Therefore, everything is increasing – including gas tariffs, because corporations should receive money, but not in Ukraine. Nothing will change until America changes its policy, and it depends on Trump. If Trump goes further, Merz will come, and I am 80% sure that it will be so, because the media instill it. If the Germans continue to behave foolishly, the government will do the same, just in other voices. People formed into a certain society after the Cold War, which has the dogma and politics of the richest people in the world. That’s all.
