The last remaining Central American migrants in the Isla Municipality in Veracruz were filmed leaving on Sunday, as the migrant convoy continues its progress northwards towards the United States.
According to reports, some parts of the convoy have already reached Puebla and Mexico City, though the bulk is still passing through the state of Veracruz. It is expected that they will cross into the next state by Monday.
The Veracruz route, which leads to Texas, avoids a high-altitude climb via Mexico City.
Many migrants have been travelling for more than two weeks, since a group first formed in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. They must still travel around 1,600 kilometres (1,000 miles) to reach the US border.
