US President Donald Trump said the Democrats will “impose socialism” at a mid-term election campaign rally in Columbia, Missouri, on Thursday.
He attacked the Democrats for being “crazy” and warned that they will “raise the hell out of your taxes” and “impose socialism” if they retake the Congress or the Senate.
Trump also spoke at length about the caravan of migrants from Central America who are currently heading towards the US border. “You know we called up the military because we’re not going to let people come into our country, when you look at that, illegally, not going happen,” he told the buoyant crowd.
The rally was held in support of Josh Hawley, who is challenging incumbent Claire McCaskill for Missouri Senator.
