Another ‘victory’ of the Maidan authorities – the threat hung over long-suffering Ukraine which soon can turn into a cemetery of radioactive waste.
According to Eduard Basurin, the Kiev regime has managed to actually put at the disposal of the United States the so-called exclusion zone around the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, where the spent nuclear fuel will be brought.
“For these purposes, the US firm Holtec is finishing the construction of a specialized storage facility. Its commissioning is scheduled for 2019, ” Basurin said, adding that the infrastructure of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant is already in critical condition, but the Kiev government not only refuses to solve the existing problems, but also generates new ones.
“Thus, the criminal regime led by Poroshenko is going to turn Ukraine into a dump of radioactive waste, which exposes a huge danger to the inhabitants of not only Ukraine, but also neighboring countries. This time bomb will go to our descendants, while the children of Kiev criminals will live in Western countries on money laundered by Ukrainian blood,” he concluded.
