Moscow doesn’t know whether the ex-employee of the GRU, Sergey Skripal, is alive and where he is at the moment.
“No one has seen Skripal since March 4. We do not know whether Sergey Skripal is alive, where he is now, where his daughter Julia Skripal is. There is no information,” Russian Ambassador to the UK Alexander Yakovenko told in a press conference on Friday.
He also noted that Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov accused of poisoning “actually exist”, as confirmed by their interview with the RT television channel. According to the diplomat, their statement that these are their real names, and that they do not work in the GRU, “can be considered as an official statement.”
