Christine Blasey Ford recounted the alleged sexual assault by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh at a high school house party in 1982, at a hearing in Washington DC on Thursday.
Standing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Blasey Ford said that although she had tried to forget about the assault, she felt it was her “civic duty” to name her alleged attacker publically after discovering he was likely to be named to the court.
