Danish police block bridges and ferries to Sweden and Germany

A police manhunt has shut down bridges, ferries and trains to and from Denmark’s largest and most populous island, authorities say.

Local media say police are searching for a “dangerous” person, although officials have not yet said who they are hunting.

The Great Belt Bridge in Denmark has been wholly closed, while traffic on the Oresund bridge is closed in the direction of Sweden.

Ferries and trains are also affected.
