Serbian Minister: We are not going to be a “parking lot for migrants”

Serbian Minister of Defense, Alexander Vulin, believes that the European Union should take a clear position on migrants, so that it is clear to everyone who has the right to defend. Such a statement he made during a meeting of defense ministers of the Balkan countries with the Austrian Defense Minister.

“The problem of migrants concerns not only the EU, but also the Balkans, and Serbia, perhaps most of all. “We need a clear position from the European Union, who has the right to protection, and who is an economic resettler,” Vulin said.

He added that Serbia will continue to treat the migrants in a humane and orderly way, but it primarily cares about security and stability, and protects its citizens.
