Ukrainian Church demands “exarchs” to leave the territory of the UOC

The Ukrainian Orthodox Church inflicts a serious blow to the plans of the schismatic formations, demanding the “Exarchs” sent by the Patriarchate of Constantinople to leave the country.

A corresponding decision was taken at a meeting of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which was held on Tuesday, September 25.

“Exarchs of the Patriarchate of Constantinople, Archbishop Daniel of Pamphylia and Bishop Hilarion of Edmonton, must leave the canonical territory of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church,” the message said, which also notes that their schismatic activities violate the inter-confessional peace in Ukraine.

“This appointment was called a gross interference in the internal affairs of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and violation of its canonical territory,” the press service of the UOC reports.
