Orthodoxy is first of all people who believe, parishioners who will not turn their backs on the canonical church for the sake of the schismatic ideas of the Kiev regime.
This statement was made by the administrator of the affairs of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Metropolitan of Boryspil and Brovary Anthony in an interview with the Greek news agency “Rompeo”.
“Our church does not recognize this action and will not cooperate with the new church.” In general, the church is a large spiritual family, which means that the majority of our believers and parishes will remain in the bosom of the canonical church, they will not betray their pastors whom they love and follow “, the clergyman said.
According to him, the schism in Orthodoxy will entail divorce on the social level, embezzlement of temples and lawlessness, which Ukraine already had to endure at the end of the last century.
He stressed that the canonical Ukrainian church understands all the hardships that will follow the decision of Constantinople. “We expect the worst,” Antony said, adding that “the church is now under great pressure”, but the Ecumenical Patriarchate only exacerbates the situation, instead of rightly resolving it.
