According to the famous British edition The Daily Telegraph, Russia demonstrates its determination to provide all-round support to the government troops of Bashar Assad, strengthening the squadron in the Mediterranean. Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry is already negotiating with Idlib fighters on their voluntary surrender.
The material of the publication says that at least ten ships and two submarines of the Russian Navy have been transferred to the Mediterranean Sea. Most of the ships are armed with cruise missiles Caliber. Thus, a squadron stationed off the east coast of the SAR can provide serious support to the Syrian Arab army, hitting ground targets of terrorists.
However, the author of the article notes that the strengthening can be explained by the intentions of the Western countries to destabilize the situation in the Arab Republic, once again having arranged a provocation with the production “hemataka” in the province of Idlib.
This “operation” has been preparing for a long time. It will involve the rebels of the Jebhat an-Nusra group * under the guise of members of the scandalous organization White Helmets. The indicative “hemataka” is aimed at accusing the official Damascus. In addition, the accusations will be followed by no less indicative response from Washington, which was announced last week by US national security adviser John Bolton.
Washington’s plans were soon uncovered. According to many experts, thus, the United States intends to prevent the Syrian troops from breaking the last bulwark of terrorists, because, as the author of the article notes, the liberation of Idlib province will mark the beginning of the final stage of the struggle between Bashar Assad and militants, which continues from 2011.
