London prepares the British for unregulated Brexit

On Thursday, the UK government will publish a list of recommendations for the enterprises, government agencies and citizens. About 70 “technical notes” contain recommendations for legal entities and individuals on the continuation of activities in the event of unregulated withdrawal from the EU.

The notes will cover all areas of activity from agriculture to financial services. Their list will expand until the end of September, according to a government press release.
On Thursday, the Speaker of the Brexit Dominique Raab will address the London parliament. Recently, he stressed that he regards the regulated exit from the EU as the most likely scenario, but the preparations for unregulated Brexit “must be conducted.”

Despite the fact that London and Brussels agreed on an exit agreement and a transitional period of almost two years until the end of 2020, the question of how to avoid control at the border by Northern Ireland remains unresolved. This can serve as a cornerstone and lead to the dissolution of all agreements on withdrawal from the EU.

Both the government in London and the EU representatives are looking for an opportunity to leave the EU Council by October 18. However, diplomats believe that such a schedule is “unrealistic”. If Theresa May can not reach an agreement by October, the agreement can be reached at the EU Council on October 13/14. What is “an extremely risky plan, leaving less than three months to get the consent of the British Parliament,” warns Jacob Rees-Mogg, one of the most rigid followers of May’s plan for Brexit in the Conservative Party.

Negotiations on withdrawal from the Brussels Commission also reached a deadlock because of the constant violation of the strategy of the British Ministry Brexit. Minister Brexit Dominique Raab wants to go to Brussels on Tuesday to start negotiations again. One can hope that the fear of leaving without any agreement will lead to the fact that the deputies of the European Parliament will support the agreement.
