At least 16 injured in German bus rollover

An omnibus rolled over Friday morning in northern Germany, leaving at least 16 people injured, including six seriously, local police tweeted, reported Xinhua.

The accident happened around 6.30 am local time, when the bus, which belongs to the intercity bus service provider Flixbus, drove into a ditch and overturned on highway A19 near Rostock in northern Germany.

There were 50 passengers on board, a police spokesman told media.

The highway remains blocked in the direction towards Berlin.
